== Quest Overview ==
Ma'yad ibn Ibsar is looking for her missing brother, Abmim ibn Ibsar.  Help her locate him and investigate the mystery of the Mad Star!

== Walk Through ==
# Speak with [[Ma'yad ibn Ibsar]] in the Cerulean Cove Pub in Yaraq at 21.7S, 1.6W.  She will direct you to Akyafi ibn Sumwar upstairs on the roof.
# Speak with [[Akyafi ibn Sumwar]], who directs you to the other side of the Yaraq Cove.
# Head west and follow the shore along the southern edge of the cove until you reach the Pillars of the Inner Sea.
# Locate the [[Corpse of Abmim ibn Ibsar]] at 22.3S, 4.7W and loot [[Abmim's Jambiya]] from it.
# Head to 21.5S, 4.1W where there is a bunker to the [[Under Cove Crypt]], but the door will not open! Pick up [[A Note to Ma'yad]] located just outside the bunker door.
# Go to the nearby Drudge Tower and work your way to the top.  One of the Drudges drops a [[Translation (Mad Star Drudge Note)|Scrawled Note]] that you will need.
# On the top of the tower is a button that opens the bunker door.  Press the button and run down the stairs and into the bunker before the door closes!
# Enter the [[Under Cove Crypt]] by jumping into the portal located in the bunker.
# Work your way into the Crypt where you will find a [[Mad Star Marionette]] casting at you.  Kill it through the window and loot it's [[Mad Star Marionette's Head|head]].
# Return to Ma'yad ibn Ibsar and give her [[A Note to Ma'yad]] and [[Abmim's Jambiya]] for experience rewards.
# Go upstairs to Akyafi ibn Sumwar and give him the [[Translation (Mad Star Drudge Note)|Scrawled Note]] and the [[Mad Star Marionette's Head]] for experience rewards.

* During [[The Calm]] event, the following changes were made to the quest:
** Ma'yad ibn Ibsar has moved from 22.5S, 0.4W to the Cerulian Cove tavern (21.7S, 1.6W).
** The [[A Note to Ma'yad|Note to Ma'yad]] has replaced [[A Scrap of Parchment]] and the note and Abmim's Jambiya can now be given in for experience.
** A new creature, the [[Mad Star Marionette]], has appeared in the [[Under Cove Crypt]]. The level 5+ restriction was also removed from the portal.
** A new side quest was introduced based around the Mad Star along with an experience reward.
** The [[Translation (Mad Star Drudge Note)|Scrawled Note]] is now rewarded with xp when translated.
* During the [[Reforging the Past]] event, the quest timer was shortened from 24 hours to 20 hours.
* During the [[Learning From Experience]]) event, the experience rewards received the following updates:
** The Jambiya and Note to Ma'yad increased from 7,500 to 11,250
** The Scrawled Note increased from 5,000 to 7,500.
** The Marionette's Head increased from 25,000 to 37,500.
